Event and Orientation Session Information by Immigration Services Agency of Japan

Orientation sessions that provide information about the Specified Skilled Worker status of residence in an easy-to-understand manner and job-matching events to connect individuals who want to work in Japan under a Specified Skilled Worker status of residence with Japanese companies are held nationwide. You can attend online from your home or another location.

This event is held in Kagoshima on Saturday 27th February.

For foreign nationals who are unable to return to their home country due to the COVID-19 pandemic and wish to work (part-time) to maintain their livelihood in Japan

It has been decided to permit foreign nationals who are unable to return to their home country or place of residence due to the COVID-19 pandemic and have difficulty maintaining their livelihood in Japan to work (part-time) up to 28 hours a week.

Those who meet requirements and wish to work (part-time) are required to apply for permission to engage in activities other than those permitted under the status of residence previously granted at the regional immigration services office.

Consultations for Foreign Residents in Satsuma Town

Foreign residents who are residing in Satsuma Town (and neighbouring areas) are welcome to come for a consultation in regard to any problems they are facing or are unsure of.

Two consultants (from Vietnam & Japan) will listen to your questions with complete confidentiality. Your questions will not be discussed elsewhere.
